Publication of the Biggest Weekly Law Reports Part in History

Published since 1953, by The Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for England and Wales, The Weekly Law Reports, along with The Law Reports and The Industrial Cases Reports are the most authoritative reports available. ICLR prides itself on a strong tradition of authority, quality and reliability and The Weekly Law Reports remains ahead of the closest competitor producing 50% more cases in 20%.

The ICLR is about to publish the biggest issue ever produced in the history of The Weekly Law Reports. Previous contenders for this title have been Part 12, (April 1, 1977) and Part 41, (25 November 1988), weighing in at approximately 230 and 210 pages respectively.

The latest; Part 41, exceeds these being over 250 pages in length.

The bulk of the issue is taken up by Kuwait Airways Corpn v Iraqi Airways Co (Nos 4 and 5) [2001] 3 WLR 1117, concerning the movement of planes prior to the Gulf War, which is reported in full. Also included are complete reports on the very recent cases R v Looseley [2001] 1 WLR 2060 and Director General of Fair Trading v First National Bank plc [2001] 3 WLR 1297, proving that the ICLR is living up to its aim of providing fast and accurate reporting.
